What Does “Unlimited Dev Sites” mean?

In order to access Accessibility Checker Pro features and get updates, you need to have an active license. Once you have met your allowed number of active licenses, you cannot activate any others.

However, there is an exception to this policy, which involves local installs using MAMP, WAMP, Vagrant, Desktop Server, or something similar. Because in these instances, these are clearly not live servers, you may activate a license there without using one of your allowed activation numbers.

How to Perform a Local Install

License activations are tied to URLs. In order to activate an Accessibility Checker Pro license on your local development server, we’ve made accommodations for the following:

  • localhost
  • 10.0.0.0/8
  • 172.16.0.0/12
  • 192.168.0.0/16
  • *.dev
  • *.local
  • *.site
  • dev.*
  • staging.*

You can use any of the URLs or IP addresses above to activate your Accessibility Checker Pro license without going over your maximum license count.
