BoardScribe makes it easy to manage board meeting information in WordPress and display meeting dates, agendas, and minutes on your website.
Here’s how to get started.
Step 1: Install BoardScribe
Follow these instructions for installing and activating BoardScribe on your website.
BoardScribe is available for free on WordPress.org.
Step 2: Add Your Meetings
- Go to Board Meetings in your WordPress admin.
- Click “Add New Meeting” to start adding meetings.
- Give the meeting a descriptive title and set a meeting date (all other fields are optional).
- Click the Publish button.
- Repeat the process for all past and future meetings you want to display.
Pro tip: To speed up the meeting creation process or create posts for many past meetings, you can use a plugin like WP All Import to create posts from a CSV import.
Step 3: Display Meetings on Your Website
Once meetings are created, add the Board Meetings table where visitors normally go to find meeting information.
If you use the block editor to create and edit content on your site, you can insert and configure one or more BoardScribe board meetings block(s).
If you aren’t using the block editor, you can use our Shortcode Builder to generate a customized BoardScribe shortcode ([edbs_boardscribe]) and copy and paste it anywhere on your site that supports shortcodes.
You can display all meetings together or separate years into different sections or pages on your website.
That’s it!
That’s all you need to do.
As you add new meetings, agendas, and minutes under Board Meetings, your meeting display will update automatically based on the settings you selected, outputting meetings in the correct chronological order.
