Steve Jones Becomes CTO and Shareholder of Equalize Digital
Georgetown, Texas, April 25, 2022 – Equalize Digital is pleased to announce that Steven Jones, former lead developer for the company, has been promoted to the role of Chief Technology Officer and has become a shareholder of Equalize Digital, Inc.
Steve elected to purchase shares and join Amber Hinds and Chris Hinds as a shareholder through a private offering. This opportunity was made available as a result of Steve’s dedication to his work at Equalize Digital and his passion for creating quality software products and websites that make the internet more accessible to people with disabilities.
“Steve has been a vital part of our team since 2017,” says Amber Hinds, CEO, “Over the past five years, Steve majorly contributed to our success both as an agency developing highly custom WordPress websites for clients in the enterprise business, higher ed, and government sectors, and with the release of our accessibility auditing software, Accessibility Checker. We’re excited to have him on board in an ownership position and guiding the development of Accessibility Checker in a more strategic role.”
After graduating with a degree in visual communications, Steve transitioned from design to web development and worked for Cox Media Group, and several marketing agencies in the Dayton, Ohio area before joining the Equalize Digital team. Steve was instrumental to Equalize Digital becoming a WordPress VIP Silver Agency Partner, through his commitment to writing performant, accessible code for clients like Workforce Solutions Panhandle, Colorado State University, Campaigns & Elections, and Adwerx, among others. He has been the lead developer of Equalize Digital Accessibility Checker software and was a leader in establishing development processes and standards for the organization.
Equalize Digital congratulates Steve, his wife Jennifer, and their three children, and welcomes them to the shareholder family.
