Accessibility Checker Small Business and Agency license plans include access to open office hours where you can ask questions and get help finding or fixing accessibility problems.
Topics Covered
Office hours are not just for plugin support. Attendee questions lead office hours discussion, which covers various accessibility topics, including and beyond plugin usage.
Examples of discussion items include:
- Understanding issues flagged by Accessibility Checker (e.g., “Is it safe to ignore this?” or “How do I fix this?”).
- Resolving accessibility problems in a specific builder.
- Screen reader testing components.
- Web Content Accessibility Guideline (WCAG) requirement questions.
- Selling accessibility to clients or internal stakeholders.
- PDF and document accessibility.
- Video accessibility best practices.
- Plugin recommendations or questions about the most accessible plugin for X.
- How and when to user test.
- … and more.
Office hours are run by accessibility specialists who are happy to look at a site and provide accessibility feedback in real time.
How Office Hours Works
Office hours are group meetings held via Zoom with auto-captions. They are held bi-weekly on Wednesdays at 10 AM Central.
Registration is required to attend. Anyone with a Small Business or Agency plan can find the Zoom registration link on their My Equalize Digital account dashboard. Reminders are also sent via email with registration links.
Office hours are not recorded, so attendees can share things they’re working on or that are not yet public. Questions are taken in the order of registration. You’re also welcome to attend even if you don’t have questions and want to listen and learn from the discussion.
