Renee Dunn from Elevage Digital will share strategies, lessons learned, and code examples for improving the accessibility of web pages built using the Divi theme and page builder. In this presentation, we will review some of the most common accessibility challenges with Divi, including navigation, buttons, icons, animation, and video.
These meetups take place via Zoom and are live captioned. You must register to attend via Zoom.
Renee has been a web developer for over 20 years and has been building sites on WordPress since 2010. She has built sites for non-profits, B2B, B2C, and government organizations. She is the owner and Principal Consultant for Elevage Digital, focusing on SEO and Website Accessibility.
Renee has worked with a number of different theme and page-building tools, including Divi, Elementor, Avada, and KadenceWP. She currently has several clients using Divi, which led to her exploration of how to make more accessible web pages using this theme and page builder. Outside of work, Renee is a supporter of the Virginia wine industry, has a Diploma in Wine from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust, and was recently a judge in the Monticello Cup wine competition. She lives in Fredericksburg, VA, with her husband and two cats.
