A license key is required to receive software updates, access email support, and utilize premium features in the plugin.
When you go through the First-time Configuration for ArchiveWP, the first step is to activate your license key. If you want to skip the First-time Configuration onboarding wizard, you can activate your license key on the License Settings page.
The License Settings page can be found by going to Settings → ArchiveWP → License.
Finding Your License Key
After you buy ArchiveWP, your license key can be found in the following places:
- On the order confirmation page.
- In your receipt email.
- On the license keys page in your Equalize Digital account.
License Activation Instructions
To activate your license on the License Settings page, follow these steps:
- Copy your license key from one of the sources above.
- Log into your WordPress Admin dashboard.
- Under Settings in the admin menu, select ArchiveWP.
- In the ArchiveWP settings navigation, select License.
- Paste your license key in the “License Key” input.
- Click the Activate License button.
When your license is successfully activated, you’ll see a success message and key details about your license, including when it next renews and the number of activations remaining.
