How Language Support Works
Setting Site Language
The plugin’s interface will automatically match the Site Language set in your WordPress General Settings. If your website is configured in French, German, or any of the supported languages above, ArchiveWP will appear in that language for all users by default. All you have to do is make sure your website is running the current version of ArchiveWP, and you should see the translated interfaces automatically.
Setting Language by User
What if you want the English back just for your user? Users can personalize their experience by selecting a different language for their individual user profile, regardless of the site-wide setting. This is great for multilingual teams or international organizations.
Feedback Welcomed
Due to challenges in getting human-generated translations for WordPress plugins, we are using PTC from WPML to generate translations with AI. This approach allows us to quickly expand language support and make the plugin more accessible to a global audience.
While AI translations enable us to cover a wide range of languages quickly, we recognize that AI translations may not always be entirely accurate. We welcome feedback from native speakers and encourage anyone who notices translation errors or awkward phrasing to let us know. You can submit a support ticket in your account dashboard to provide translation feedback. Your input helps ensure a better experience for everyone.
